We believe the work we do has a ripple effect on the world around us. At Pacific Planning Group, we’re not just interested in urban planning and real estate.
Our philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach, taking into account all of our precious resources and finding the regenerative solutions for the future.
To us, land, water, and energy are regenerative and the most necessary elements in supporting human life. When we approach them with love, it creates an energetic ripple effect throughout our natural systems.
The work we do when it comes to land development, zero waste water technology, and renewable energy is essential, now more than ever. With radical new technologies being developed at a faster rate than ever before, we both assist and represent the implementation of these upgraded systems by leveraging our existing relationships with regulatory agencies, as well as the City, County, and State.
We are able to bridge the gap between local municipalities and the innovative technology & development world.
Now, more than ever, we need to find regenerative solutions to create a peaceful and harmonious coexistence between humanity and our biosphere. The old way has expired and it’s time to put radical, new technologies into place in order to achieve a better quality of life for all.
Our mission is to improve the existing infrastructure with new technologies that allow for water reliability and energy efficiency. The time for action is now. We are at a tipping point where only new, renewable solutions will build a better future for generations to come.
We envision Laguna Beach as the spark for change, which will inevitably have a positive ripple effect on the rest of the world. Beyond improving our water and energy systems, our overarching mission is to let harmony and balance drive everything we do.
We believe when we improve one area of society (like the water we drink and the energy we use), it has a ripple effect, bringing more harmony to everything in our environment, from civic engagement to our global economics. Forming this B corporation is the first step towards a more environmentally, socially conscious, and regenerative future.

OUR STORY
Starting as an urban planning firm with strong roots in UCI’s School of Social Ecology, Pacific Planning Group has evolved from land development services to promoting organic stewardship of natural resources, including land, water, and renewable energy.
Created by its principal, Karen Martin in 1996, PPG specializes in processing land entitlements and preparing professional preconstruction reports for commercial retail clients, residential and mixed use developments. Our clients range from publicly traded companies to the small land owner.
The firm completed a re-start in 2019 with a mission of harmonizing the built environment to be more in tune with natural systems related to water and energy. This mission promoted the move to UCI's Beall Applied Innovation Center. The Center is an ecosystem of idea generators, funders, UCI students and mentors that collaborate to create a better world through social enterprise.
